No preview for one particular folder

I have no preview in ACDSee 2 for Mac in a particular folder, but it works in all other folders.

I've checked the permissions on OS x level and as well on UNIX level to find a difference between other folders and the one in focus, but they are the same. As well a deletion of the folder /Users/<userid>/Library/Application Support/ACD Systems did not help.

The folder contains 709 jpg files taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT3 and a subfolder with the modified files, some are big tiff files there.

One other question, is it correct as the ACDSee version for Mac has no support for GPS data within the EXIF?

could the reason be the OS X Mavericks upgrade as described here?

Es ist klar: ACDSee kann keine Bilder, die nach der Installation von Maverick auf die Festplatte gelangt sind, anzeigen. Weder als Thumbnails oder in der Ansicht noch können sie bearbeitet werden. Die Message ist : "Geschützte oder nicht-bearbeitbare Dateien können nicht entwickelt werden." Besonders schlimm: Auch Version 3, die noch nicht mal auf deutsch erschienen ist, ist betroffen. Wenn es baldigen Fix gibt, dann sicher in der Version 3, und zunächst auf Englisch. Wir werden nicht darum herumkommen, eine zeitlang die englische Version zu nehmen
